FEBRUARY! AN INTENSE MONTH AHEAD
First of all, this month is filled with number 2’s everywhere! Think about it….February 2, February 20, February 22, 2022. The next time on this planet with that many 2’s will be in the year 2202!
The number two represents duality. What is an example of a duality? It refers to having two parts, often with opposite meanings, like the duality of good and evil, peace and war, black and white, up and down, cold and hot. This will make us question ourselves at our core level. We will be pushed into uncomfortable spaces—all with the spiritual intention for our soul’s growth.
Number two also deals with partnership, relationship and balance. The key lessons when dealing with the number 2 are generally centered on compromise, acceptance, compassion, cooperation and passion. This will be a time where we see people of in all stages of life coupling up and lots of special babies will be born this year!
For all of it’s “2’s” this month, it is a powerful 8 MONTH! So everything will have extra strength! Think Super Bowl and Olympics!
Next on the hit parade, February 1 and it’s the YEAR OF THE WATER TIGER!
Tigers bring strength, braveness and unpredictable behavior! The Water Tiger brings with it plenty of emotion! Tigers are rebels and this year will bring lots of rule breaking. Tigers love freedom so individuals will want fewer boundaries and limitations. The water element also has us looking at our own fear and asking ourselves to be brave. This is a great year to renew your energy and vitality.
VERY different year from the 2021 Metal Ox, which was all about caution and plodding along.
It’s fascinating that one of the Super Bowl teams will be the Cincinnati Bengals! Seriously in the year of the Tiger! And they are playing the Los Angeles Rams – in LA! This should be a powerful AND dramatic game, full of emotions!

Depending where you are in the world, this could be a Black Moon. If it falls on January 31—then it will be the second new moon of the month and that makes it extra powerful.
The New Moon is also conjunct Saturn and square Uranus. This alignment brings to the forefront some 2021 themes like Covid restrictions. It will help us adapt to change and uncertainty. Stay open-minded and watch your consciousness begin to shift.
Set your intentions around group projects and humanitarian efforts. Prepare to get down to business and make your dreams a reality. This new moon brings opportunities in changing conditions. Doors will open that were once closed. New Moon in Aquarius asks us to be independent and authentic. Now is the time to think out of the box! Go for it!
February 4th – Mercury Goes Direct in Capricorn
Mercury stations close to Pluto, so this transit is as intense as you can get. Because of the proximity to Pluto you will need to be as mindful and truthful in your life moving forward.
Once this retrograde comes to an end, you may realize that you no longer have the luxury of being able to waste time.
February 4 – Sun Conjunct Saturn
Powerful and intense day! Consider this a test to your commitments in life. This is an aspect that illuminates the wisdom we’ve all gained from our challenging experiences. You may have to take on extra responsibility or act as a mentor or guide.
Hard work, discipline and patience are needed to attend to your duties and obligations.
February 6th, 2022 – Mars Square Chiron (The Wounded Healer)
Frustration day if you let it. You may get emotionally triggered. Time to look at your turn your past “so-called” mistakes and challenges and turn them into alchemical gold. These wounds are the bringer of wisdom and we can all use wisdom.
February 11 – Mercury Conjunct Pluto
The third and final Mercury Conjunct Pluto in a series. Stay curious. This is a unique window that may bring hidden information to the surface. You may even learn something deep about yourself.
February 14th– Mercury Reenters Aquarius
Our thoughts and ideas become more progressive. We will have the opportunity to view the things we’re emotionally invested in through a more rational lens.
February 16 - Venus-Mars conjunction in Capricorn
Venus and Mars will form a conjunction in February of 2022 that will be maintained for two months. This is unusual and will be interesting to observe. It happens once a year but usually lasts for ten days.
The Venus Mars conjunction will kick off on February 1st with Venus at 11 degrees, Mars at 5 degrees Capricorn. The two planets eventually form an exact conjunction on the 16th, at 16 degrees. This is a time of passion and confidence. Quite a time to begin a new relationship!

February 22—US Pluto Return exact on February 22
